Last night, we returned to the Rockhal to see Vive la Fête !

Although there was hardly more than 120 persons attending, the concert was just a *blast*: clear sound and pure energy. :-)  The track listing came mostly from the last two albums (Nuit Blanche and Grand Prix), opening on Nuit Blanche, and closing on a genuinely rock reprise of Plastic Bertrand's Ca planne pour moi.

Apparently, the band had a new musician with them (my assumption is they filled the keyboard player position advertised on their web site), and spent most of the afternoon rehearsing.

You might have heard its soundtrack before in the closing scene of Heat. It's Moby's "God Moving Over the Face of the Waters".

I spent last evening at the Communication and Design Awards 2006 at Rockhal.  Soldout's concert was a blast. I give them a Gold Award for the next CD I will play in loop!
